We are tasked with staffing The VA Northern California Healthcare System (VANCHCS) with Cardiologists. The Cardiologist is expected to do the following:
Provide comprehensive cardiology care to patients.
Diagnose and treat a wide range of cardiovascular conditions.
Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including echocardiograms, stress tests, and cardiac monitoring.
Develop and manage individualized treatment plans.
Educate patients on heart health, disease prevention, and treatment options.
Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals.
Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant medical documentation.
Board Certified/Eligible in Cardiology Fellowship training in Cardiology (Residency) Three to five years of Cardiologist experience Degree of Doctor of Medicine or an equivalent degree resulting from a course of education in medicine or osteopathic medicine. Current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia.
