The Role

As a Per Diem Radiology Technologist, you will have the unique opportunity to expand your skills and thrive in a supportive environment. Our leadership team is dedicated to your professional development, ensuring you receive the training and guidance needed to excel in your career.

The Work

Performs radiological examinations.

Exercises independent and professional judgment to produce quality radiographs.

Abides by the policies and procedures set forth by the department.

Recognizes the patient's condition, age limitations, and abilities, and acts accordingly to provide quality care.

You Have

Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required. State of Maine License for Radiologic Technology/Radiographer (RT) required.

OR Temporary State of Maine License for Radiologic Technology/Radiographer (RT) required. Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) AND State of Maine License for Radiologic Technology/Radiographer (RT) required within 180 days of hire.

Until the state license is obtained, technologist must work within the guidelines set forth by the State of Maine Board of Licensure.

Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider preferred.

Staff may be assigned to a specific point-of-service location or be assigned to a centralized deployable location; all staff members are expected to be able to cover any.

Compensation information

$29.60 - $51.80

The hourly pay range shown represents the base pay range for this position. Individual pay is determined based on factors such as experience, qualifications, skills, and market considerations. In addition to base pay, eligible team members may earn additional compensation through shift, weekend, holiday, on-call, and other applicable differentials. Requirements

Candidates must be registered as a Radiologic Technologist by the ARRT and hold a State of Maine License for Radiologic Technology. A Basic Life Support certification is preferred.
