About the role

The practitioner plans and delivers a variety of respiratory care procedures and diagnostic studies. They are also responsible for documenting care, maintaining equipment, and completing patient billing.

Plans, prepares, and delivers a broad range of respiratory care procedures and diagnostic studies. Documents all respiratory care on appropriate records. Inspects, tests, maintains and operates respiratory care equipment. Completes patient billing.

We have part-time 24 hour a week variable shift available positions.

Required Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree - Degree from a Respiratory Care Program from an AMA approved school or equivalent education/experience or Bachelor's Degree from a Respiratory Care Program from an AMA approved school in lieu of an associate degree and 1 year of experience.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
  • National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire.
  • National Provider PALS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire.
  • New Mexico Respiratory Care Practitioner License upon hire - if practicing within this state
  • 1 year of experience (May include clinical portion of training program).

Preferred Qualifications

• Coursework/Training: Flight Training.

Requires an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Care and a New Mexico state license. Candidates must hold BLS certification upon hire and obtain ACLS and PALS certifications within 90 days.
