Vighter LLC is recruiting Mammography Technologist to perform high-quality mammographic imaging while providing exceptional patient care. The Mammography Technologist is responsible for operating mammography equipment, ensuring patient safety and comfort, maintaining image quality, and complying with all applicable regulations and facility policies. Computed Tomography (CT) Technologists are responsible for the direct and indirect care of patients to ensure that the quality of the studies adhere to established standards. The standard of care shall be of a quality, meeting or exceeding all recognized national standards.

Perform screening and diagnostic mammography examinations in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
Position patients correctly to obtain high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring patient comfort and safety. Operate digital mammography equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
Review images for quality and repeat studies when necessary.
Educate patients on procedures and address questions or concerns.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
Follow radiation safety, infection control, and HIPAA guidelines.
Perform routine quality control and equipment checks.
Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure timely patient care.
Maintain current knowledge of mammography standards and best practices.
Must adhere to 2026 National Patient Safety Goals (NPSG) standards /guidelines.
Must be continuously alert to the patient’s condition and other disorders. Adverse reactions of the patient require immediate attention so that harm does not come to the patient or equipment.

• The expected duty hours for this position are 8 hours per day and 5 days per week. However, this key position supports 24/7/365 operations which may require work to be conducted in the day, at night, on weekends, and during holidays.
