The Patient Care Assistant provides routine direct nursing care to patients under the supervision of a registered nurse. They work within a multi-disciplinary team to provide holistic care for patients with both medical and psychiatric illnesses.
The Patient Care Assistant is responsible for providing nursing care to patients under the supervision and direction of a registered nurse. Incumbents perform routine direct patient care activities following established policies and procedures in a manner conducive to the safety and comfort of the patient. We are a 24 bed medical-surgical unit designed to treat patients who have both an active medical illness, as well as an active psychiatric illness. N3W staff work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary care team to provide holistic, patient-centered care. #READ
Education Requirements Completes and maintains all competencies and trainings as required for role.
