CRNAs at Endeavor Health are part of the medical group and function in a collaborative Anesthesia Care Team (ACT). CRNAs carry out clinical assignments under the direction of the chief of the Department of Anesthesiology, and under the specific direction/supervision of the designated attending anesthesiologist. The extent of the service provided by the CRNA is at the discretion of the attending anesthesiologist. Patient care includes patients of all ages: pediatrics through geriatrics. Delivery of care requires appropriate knowledge and skills to assess each age group, interpret age specific data along with skills to appropriately treat (i.e. medications, set-ups, equipment, etc.) every age-specific patient.
The scope of practice of the CRNA’s at Endeavor Health is unlimited. Patient care focuses on a wide-ages, pediatrics through geriatrics. Case variety is diverse including Neuro, Gen Surg, Thoracic, Urology, Plastics, Ortho, Optho, IR, Cath Lab, GI and MRI. CRNA’s perform regional anesthesia including Spinals and PNB’s.
