Registered Nurse - Radiation Therapy

Position Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) manages the episode of patient care in partnership with persons, care givers, groups, and other providers to reach a shared goal of delivering safe, quality health care. This patient care may be through direct care by the RN, or it may be through coordinating and supervising patient care delegated to, Nursing Assistants and other unlicensed assistive personnel.

Required Qualifications

• Education,
• Experience or
• Equivalent
• Combination:
• BSN/BAN in Nursing required.
• 2 years of inpatient or outpatient oncology experience required.
• Must have previously worked in the Radiation Therapy Department.
• 1 year of radiation therapy experience preferred.
• Licensure/
• Registration/
• Certification:
• Valid Minnesota Registered Nurse License
• BLS provider status in accordance with American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines
• Knowledge,
• Skills, and
• Abilities:
