Pharmacy interns are enrolled in a pharmacy degree program at an accredited school of pharmacy and participate in the delivery of pharmacy services under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. The pharmacy intern position will prepare individuals for their role as a future pharmacist. Interns are invited and encouraged to participate in educational activities within the Pharmacy Department including those associated with the pharmacy residency program. The intern may complete additional pharmacy projects in collaboration with pharmacy leadership and/or pharmacy residents.

Candidates must be currently enrolled or planning to enroll in an accredited College of Pharmacy program and hold a high school diploma. Applicants must also be eligible to register as a pharmacy intern or technician in the state of employment.
