Schedule

Full-Time What You’ll Do In this role you will be responsible for providing comprehensive cardiopulmonary care, including assessment, diagnostic evaluation, interpretation, and treatment of patients. This role also involves consulting, offering technical direction, and providing instruction to physicians, nurses, and other healthcare staff.

Responsibilities

Perform patient assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and interpret results to develop treatment plans for cardiopulmonary conditions Perform EKGs, assist with intubations, and manage ventilators Administer respiratory treatments, airway care, and ventilation management Provide respiratory care consultation and guidance to physicians, nurses, and clinical staff Offer technical expertise to ensure proper equipment use and adherence to best practices Educate patients and families on respiratory conditions, treatments, and home care Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards What We Are Looking For

Qualifications

Associate's Degree in Respiratory Science or equivalent Minimum of two years of hospital experience preferred Current New Mexico Respiratory Care Practitioner License (RRT) Basic Life Support (BLS) & Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification within 30 days of hire Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within 30 days of hire What You Can Expect

Requirements

Requires an Associate's Degree in Respiratory Science and a current New Mexico Respiratory Care Practitioner License (RRT). BLS and ACLS certifications are required, with NRP and PALS certifications needed within 30 days of hire.
