Duties/Responsibilities
Prescribe, delegate, and coordinate the nursing care provided on a pediatric unit which cares for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, school age, and adolescents, with medical and surgical, orthopedic, and neurological conditions, as well as, children with developmental disabilities in PACU
Professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients, for a designated time frame, and provides quality care to these patients in PACU
Assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment in PACU
Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing school with a current Texas RN license and at least one year of RN experience. PACU experience and CPR certification are required, with PALS certification needed within one year.
