About the role

The Medical Assistant is responsible for rooming patients, collecting information, and preparing patients for examinations. They also assist with clinical procedures and the overall delivery of patient care within the Internal Medicine team.

**2,500 hire bonus available

Vancouver clinic is searching for a medical assistant to join the internal medicine team at our gresham, oregon location!

Responsibilities

include rooming patients, collecting patient information, preparing patients for examination, assisting with procedures, and assisting with overall delivery of patient care. *EMT welcome to apply!

Pay starts at $22.25/hour and increases based on evaluation of experience.

Schedule

  • Monday through
  • Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred.
  • Proof of successful completion of national certification examination (AAMA, NCCT, NHA, AMT) preferred.
  • Current Health Care Provider BLS CPR certification required.
  • Patient care experience preferred
  • Experience with an electronic health record, Epic experience strongly preferred.

Vancouver Clinic provides care across a wide range of medical decisions. This includes care and opinions on vaccinations, reproductive health, end-of-life decision-making, and gender affirming treatment. The ability to work, with or without reasonable accommodation, with a diverse population of patients and colleagues seeking or considering care in all areas is an essential function of all positions at the Clinic.

**Bonus awarded is prorated by FTE and subject to repayment terms and applicable tax withholding. Eligible new hires only.

Pay Range

$21.81 - $30.53
