Assist clinical and outpatient dietitians by screening inpatient populations and managing outpatient scheduling and calendars. Support the dietitian team with various projects and maintain updated patient education materials.
Assist the clinical and outpatient dietitians with screening each morning Utilize the electronic medical record (EMR) screen tool and provider referrals to identify patient to assess Utilized the electronic medical record (EMR) and referral management to schedule outpatient referrals for the outpatient dietitian. Manage the outpatient dietitian calendar Assist the clinical and outpatient dietitian’s with projects Maintain and development skills through professional development Attend scheduled hospital dietitian meetings Maintain updated patient education materials and nutrition references Complete assigned Health Stream educations in a timely manner Be a team player Follow policies and procedures of Idaho Falls Community Hospital (IFCH) and the Nutritional Services Department Participate in the development and attainment of department goals Participate in Performance Improvement Projects or Quality Assurance Program Contribute to a positive work culture in the department as well as throughout IFCH Be a productive employee Report to work on time, providing proper notification of absence and/or tardiness as outlined in hospital procedures and policy Maintain record of time worked by using computerized time clock and take responsibility for the appropriate management of benefit hours Schedule time and utilize resources effectively and efficiently Perform assignments in an independent manner with little or no direct supervision, consistently striving to be a productive member of the institution by putting time to good use and recognizing situations needing attention Observe department and hospital dress and grooming guidelines Have employee health screen tests done as needed and follow infection control guidelines Perform other duties as assigned by the Nutritional Services Manager BENEFITS: Taking care for our community starts with taking care of our own team.
