About the role

The LPN manages provider schedules, directs patient flow, and assists with in-office procedures. They are also responsible for patient education and handling medication-related communications.

Position requirements - What you need to know before applying

Full-Time Commitment: This is a full-time position (Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week).

Shift Availability: Shifts may begin as early as 7:30 AM and may end as late as 5:30 PM. You must be available to work shifts within this range.

Reliable Transportation: You must have reliable transportation to travel locally to our satellite offices around the I-270. Mileage reimbursement is available for eligible midday travel.

What you'll do

As an LPN at COUG, you’ll be a cornerstone of our clinical team - where your skills, dedication, and compassion directly impact patient care and outcomes.

Your role will include

  • Managing provider schedules and directing patient flow
  • Handling the medication/script line and routing messages as needed
  • Preparing rooms and assisting providers during in-office procedures
  • Educating patients and answering questions within your scope of practice
  • Reporting any adverse medication events to providers
  • Contributing to the daily success of the clinic through teamwork and initiative

  • What you bring
  • Current LPN license in the State of Ohio (required)
  • 1+ year of LPN experience in a clinical setting preferred
  • Experience in urology or a surgical specialty is a plus
  • An innate ability to think critically, act decisively, and maintain calm focus in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

Candidates must hold a current LPN license in the State of Ohio and have reliable transportation for local travel. One or more years of clinical experience is preferred, with urology or surgical specialty experience being a plus.
