Compensation

$27.49 - $36.44 The final job offer is based on several factors (internal equity, skills, education, experience, and credentials).

We are the behavioral health community organization responsible for the delivery of mental health, substance abuse treatment coordination, and developmental disabilities services for Kent County. We need individuals who are passionate about making a difference by helping others.

We are seeking a MDHHS Clinical Liaison to provide and facilitate access to Network180 services for children and families involved in the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) system. The MDHHS Clinical Liaison will complete assessments, participate in integrated review meetings, and assess and determine eligibility for SED Wavier services.

This position is 40 hours a week, Monday through Friday, 8

00 am to 5:00 pm. There are no weekends, on call, or holiday requirements for this position. This assignment is hybrid, working from a home-office, Kent County DHHS office, Network180 and frequent regional travel, including home visits.

Minimum qualifications

· Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy.

· State of Michigan limited or full license as a master’s social worker, professional counselor, counselor, or marriage and family therapist; OR be eligible for a limited license as stated above and obtain that licensure within three (3) months of hire.

· Child Mental Health Professional (CMHP) credential or at least one year of experience in the examination, evaluation and treatment of minors and their families obtained via employment or internship experience.

· Thorough knowledge of mental health service options within and outside the Kent County region.

· Thorough working knowledge of the MDDHS CPS and foster care system.

· Lived experiences with mental illness/developmental disabilities/substance use disorders valued.

· Computer skills include word processing, spreadsheets, and e-mail.

· Demonstrated experience working in a multicultural environment.

Preferred qualifications

· Social services experiences with African American or Latino populations.

· Trained to administer the MichiCAN; CAFAS/PECFAS as a reliable rater.

· English/Spanish bilingual

Requirements
