Sentara is currently hiring a CT Technologist II at the Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center in Woodbridge, Virginia
This is a Full-Time, Rotating shift that requires on-call rotations 1 of every 5 weeks
Work Schedule
- Monday -
- Thursday from 10:00 am - 7:30 pm
Sign-on bonus up to 15K available for qualified candidates
As a cat scan technologist ii , you will perform computed tomography (Ct) and ct-Guided interventional procedures under the direction of a qualified physician; provide patient and family education; operate equipment safely; complete department documentation; maintain all equipment to be clean and operational; maintain adequate supply inventory for performing examinations.
Provides quality computed tomography (Ct) imaging to patients under the direction of a supervising physician with adherence to the required protocol standards. Performs computed tomography (Ct) per protocol under the direction of a qualified physician; provides patient and family education; operates equipment safely; completes department documentation; maintains all equipment to be clean and operational; maintains adequate supply inventory for performing examinations. Follow radiation safety regulatory guidelines. Administration of ct contrast per protocol.
Qualifications
- Trade school graduate - Radiologic technology
- Arrt or cnmt is required. , basic life support,
Advanced ct registry in arrt or cnmt to be obtained within two (2) years of hire (To include mergers and acquisitions).
