About the role

The Physical Therapist is responsible for assessing patients and implementing comprehensive rehabilitation plans of care. They collaborate with health professionals to develop exercises and train caretakers on appropriate body mechanics.

Physical Therapist - Wrentham, MA

“I was really drawn to Hope because of the population we work with.

I appreciate the focus on helping people stay as independent and safe as possible, especially older adults with intellectual/developmental and physical needs.

What keeps me here is the relationships I’ve built with both the residents and my coworkers.

I genuinely enjoy the work and feel like what I do makes a difference.

I also value the work environment; it feels supportive and close-knit, like a small family, which makes coming to work that much more enjoyable.

I’m very comfortable bringing things up to my managers, especially when I know it’ll be received openly.

I do best in environments where communication feels easy and not intimidating, so when that’s there, I’m more likely to speak up with ideas or concerns.

I also feel really supported while I’m in school, and I appreciate the flexibility management has given me as I continue to grow in my profession and education.” COTA (4 years with Hope)
