Perform technical sample processing and phlebotomy duties within the Surgical Pathology division. Manage patient registration, specimen collection, and maintain equipment quality control records.
This is an open-pooled position. Applicants' education/experience will be considered and the position may be filled at a lower or higher level, as appropriate.
The Laboratory Assistant II, Laboratory Services provides technical skills necessary to perform sample processing within the division and may perform essential phlebotomy duties as assigned. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Two (2) years related experience.
Valid State of Texas Driver’s License.

Requires a valid Texas Driver's License and two years of related experience for Level II, or phlebotomy course completion for Level I. Phlebotomy certification from agencies like ASCP or AMT is preferred.
