Essential

Duties & Responsibilities

Provide physical therapy services as prescribed by a physician. To observe and record activities and findings in the clinical record and report the resident’s reaction to the treatment and any changes in the patient’s condition. Provide instructions to the resident, family members and other health team personnel in care and use of physical therapy devices. Determine proper procedures and methods and evaluate results. Maintain inventory of materials and supplies for the assigned area of the department/facility. Practice Physical Therapy consistent with the American Physical Therapy Association Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice.

Qualifications

Graduate of an approved school of Physical Therapy. Minimum of one year of clinical experience preferred. Must possess active State of Florida Physical Therapy license. Have supervision and management skills. Must possess good communication skills, both verbal and written in English. Spanish preferred. Basic math skills required. Able to operate the necessary equipment. The Ideal Candidate Responsible, energetic, punctual, resourceful, very accurate and detail-oriented. Flexible as to work schedule. Must be available to work on weekends, holidays & in emergencies. Must be able to work under pressure and multi-task. Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently AND as a team member. Exhibit an enthusiastic and friendly personality that has aptitude for working with a variety of people. #ZR

Requirements

Must be a graduate of an approved Physical Therapy school with an active State of Florida license. Preferred candidates have at least one year of clinical experience and proficiency in English and Spanish.
