We are looking for a compassionate and creative Activities Assistant to support our senior citizen residents in our Memory Care department. In this role you will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and leading meaningful activities that are appropriate to the needs and interests of Memory Care residents and are conducive to their physical, mental and social well-being. Here are a few of the daily responsibilities:
Support resident wellness by planning and leading diverse and engaging activity programs to meet the needs our resident population, including seniors in need of physical assistance and seniors in varying stages of memory loss.
Assist the Director of Life Enrichment with planning, scheduling, and coordinating activities for residents, including special or seasonal events, following the guidelines of several Life Enrichment programs (Lifestyles and Health Services, Embrace the World, Ambassador, and Heartfelt Connections Memory Care Program).
Lead daily resident activities for Memory Care residents to support resident engagement and mental health, per our Community standards.
Assist with preparing and distributing monthly event calendars for residents and staff to raise awareness of activities in the community and promote communication.
Drive our small bus to and from church services, shopping, or other resident errands.
Partner with leadership and other staff to address resident needs.
$15.00/hr - $17.00 per hour, depending on experience.

A high school diploma or GED is required, while an associate's degree is preferred. Experience in senior activities or memory care is preferred.
