About the role

Provide behavioral health services and support to individuals with mental illness according to treatment plans. Act as a logistics lead to organize work and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to document client progress.

Arisa Health is currently seeking a Qualified Behavioral Health Professional II (QBHP) to join our new and growing transitional unit in Little Rock. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with children and/or adults in a behavior health setting.

Arisa Health is Arkansas' largest and most comprehensive nonprofit behavioral health provider. Formed by the affiliation of 4 long-standing Arkansas community mental health centers, Arisa Health leads with exceptional care that nurtures health and well-being for all. Arisa provides outpatient services, Crisis services and emergency screening, substance abuse counseling, intensive children services, intensive adult services, medical services, and residential services in 41 Arkansas counties.

This position is classified as full- time, non-exempt (hourly) and reports to the Program Coordinator.

Work hours

Monday - Friday, Day Shift.

What you will do as a Qualified Behavioral Health Professional II (QBHP) at Arisa Health:

Provide services to persons with mental illness as defined by the treatment plan such as behavioral assistance, child and your support services, crisis stabilization, adult rehabilitative day, life skills development, partial hospitalization, and other support services.

Serve as the serves as the logistics lead person and may schedule, review, organize, and conduct work by following developed policies and procedures under the direction of the administrative or clinical manager.

Provide instruction and feedback to others identified by the administrative manager.

Function as part of a multidisciplinary team and communicates client progress to team.

Provides timely and quality documentation of clinical services.

  • Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, sociology, child development, education, or a related field OR High school Diploma with 2-5 yeas in related field required.

  • Ability to work as part of a treatment team
