The Pharmacist manages the home infusion process by verifying patient orders and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure safe drug therapy. They are responsible for supervising sterile compounding, dispensing medications, and monitoring patient outcomes through clinical data analysis.

As a Pharmacist, you’ll be involved with multiple facets of the home infusion process as you interact with insurance companies, staff members, distributors, Physicians/Nurses, and patients to ensure accurate and safe quality service. You will use your experience as part of the Pharmacy Team to resolve problems when unforeseen roadblocks arise. Perform specific distributive and clinical pharmacy activities and related services as they pertain to providing safe and effective home infusion therapies.
Required to stand, walk, sit, talk, and hear; required to use hands to operate vehicles and office equipment; must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs; specific vision requirements for this job include: close, distance and peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus, reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position without compromising patient care.

Candidates must hold a B.S. or PharmD degree and a valid pharmacist license in the state of employment. A minimum of two years of acute-care experience or one year of home infusion therapy experience is required.
