University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and skilled Homecare RN to provide exceptional nursing care to patients in their homes in Detroit and parts of Wayne county in MI. This role involves assessing patient health, administering treatments, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Conducting thorough patient assessments and developing individualized care plans.
  • Administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Monitoring patient progress and documenting changes in condition.
  • Educating patients and their families on health management and disease prevention.
  • Coordinating with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare providers.
  • Maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
  • Providing emotional support and promoting patient independence.

Requirements

  • Current and valid RN license in the state of Michigan.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience, preferably in homecare or community health.
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Reliable transportation to travel to patient homes in Detroit and surrounding areas of MI.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
