Clinical Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments using clinical data, laboratory values, weight trends, and disease-specific guidelines.
• Develop, implement, and adjust individualized nutrition care plans, including therapeutic diets, supplementation, enteral feeding, and hydration strategies.
• Monitor resident outcomes and modify interventions in response to medical changes. Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure coordinated, compliant, and resident-centered nutrition services.
• Provide targeted nutrition education to residents, families, and staff to support disease management and diet adherence.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation and support audits, surveys, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to community outreach and consultative services through education and professional expertise.

Submission Requirements

1. Credentialed as a Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or eligible for registration as a dietitian by the CDR. 2. Licensed as a Registered Dietitian in North Dakota (ND). 3. If eligible must obtain and hold limited license in ND and within 6 months of hire date must obtain RD status by CDR credentialing.
