  • Summary: North Texas Behavioral Health Authority (NTBHA), based in Dallas, is responsible for developing a collaborative system of care for children, adolescents, and adults with severe mental illness and other serious emotional disturbances, as well as those experiencing a substance use disorder. This position serves Kaufman County. This position’s actions and work must align with NTBHA’s values and goals, policies and procedures, and meet all documentation standards and regulatory requirements. Travel is required as part of this role’s duties (20%–100% per day) across Dallas, Ellis, Hunt, Kaufman, Navarro, and Rockwall Counties. Fleet or personal vehicles may be used for business needs; transport of individuals is only permitted with a company vehicle and management approval. This role may be required to use a fleet vehicle and/or a personal vehicle for business needs. This may include, but is not limited to field & home visits, offsite meetings, co-located sites and/or pick up items for business needs, etc. If your program requires transport of individuals, this would only be allowed with a company vehicle and approval from management. This position is classified as exempt and requires flexibility in scheduling to meet organizational needs, including adjusting work hours as necessary to ensure job responsibilities are completed.

  • Licensure required: LPC-Associate, LMFT-Associate, or LMSW under supervision; full licensure as LPC, LMFT, or LCSW.

  • Skills: Conduct MST assessment including review of referral information, identifying, and engaging key participants, identifying systemic strengths and weaknesses, and developing an analysis of the fit of problem behaviors within the ecological context. Maintains a caseload of 4-6 families. Engage primary caregivers and other key participants in active change-oriented treatment by identifying and overcoming barriers to engagement. Implement a problem conceptualization, treatment planning, intervention implementation, outcomes review and strategy revision procedure using the MST Analytic Process. Maintain clear and concise documentation of treatment efforts that promote peer and supervisory review and feedback, and that demonstrate compliance with the nine MST Principles and the MST Analytic Process. Ability to engage and collaborate with all relevant systems and key participants within each system, to maintain alignment throughout MST treatment. Provide direct clinical treatment using methods compatible with MST principles and practices. Participates in MST training, supervision, consultation, and MST Therapist Development activities. All services are provided in a person centered, trauma informed manner (To learn more about MST, visit www.mstservices.com). Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills - Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc., with an ability to become familiar with company-specific programs and software. We are responsible for developing a collaborative system of care for individuals in crisis in the NTBHA service area. We are focused on trauma-informed, resilience-oriented care in all services provided.

Requirements

Requires a Master's degree in clinical/counseling psychology, Social Work, or a related field. Must hold licensure as an LPC, LMFT, or LCSW (including Associate levels under supervision).
