Provide compassionate hands-on personal care and companionship to hospice clients in their homes to maintain their dignity and quality of life. Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, performing light housekeeping, and documenting care for supervising clinicians.

  • Range: $20.00- $25.00/hour (non-exempt), based on experience, qualifications, and location.   • Aide, you will: Provide Direct Care – Assist clients with bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring, simple wound care, and other personal care tasks as directed by a nurse or therapist. Maintain a Safe Home Environment – Perform client-directed light housekeeping tasks, ensuring a clean and comfortable living space. Document & Communicate Effectively – Accurately record client care per policy and report updates or concerns to the supervising nurse or therapist. Enhance Social Well-Being – Establish trusting relationships with clients and their families, providing compassionate companionship and emotional support. Other Duties as Assigned – The duties and responsibilities listed above are representative of the nature and level of work assigned and are not necessarily all inclusive.
  • This job also requires: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification required. Ability to follow care plans and work independently in a home setting. Knowledge of safe lifting and transfer techniques. Experience in home health, long-term care, or personal caregiving is preferred but not required. Valid driver’s license and access to an insured personal vehicle for home visits. Physical capability to perform all essential job functions, including assisting with client mobility and personal care needs. Ability to pass state mandated background check. Ability to read, write, and speak English to ensure effective communication with clients, staff, and families.

Requirements
