The technician is responsible for decontaminating, assembling, and sterilizing surgical instruments and medical supplies. They ensure the distribution and storage of sterile equipment to support patient care and treatment.
Employment type: Part time
Furnishes sterile and non-sterile supplies, equipment and services for the care and treatment of patients. Adheres to MercyOne's performance expectations and performs all defined services and other related duties in accordance with the mission, vision and values of MercyOne.
Decontaminates dirty equipment and supplies.
Prepares non-sterile portable equipment and supplies for use.
Instrument assembly: Inspects and assembles instruments in accordance with Pick card
Distributes and stores sterile supplies.
Sterilization of equipment: Loads and unloads sterilization cart and stores items in proper location.
Adheres to all safety, infection control and colleague health policies and procedures.
00pm- 11:30pm but can vary.
