Coordinates treatment plans and provides nursing care for adult Hematology and Oncology patients throughout the continuum of care. Acts as a patient liaison and resource person, managing triage, education, and supportive care referrals.

Serves in an expanded role to assess patient needs, plan and provide nursing care and coordinate follow-up care for patients receiving treatment in an outpatient Hematology/Oncology setting. Primarily responsible for care navigation throughout the continuum of care. Key responsibilities include patient education, triage and care coordination.
$10,000 sign-on bonus for eligible RN candidates.
00 a.m.- 4:30 p.m.
2 years RN work experience is required; previous Hematology/Oncology experience is strongly preferred.
This position must maintain competency in Chemotherapy and Biotherapy administration as demonstrated by completing and maintaining The ONS Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Certification. Work towards OCN certification once required hours are completed, to further demonstrate competency in this specialized field of nursing.
Work is typically performed in a clinical environment.

Education: Graduate from Specialty Training Program-Nursing (Required), Bachelor's Degree-Nursing (Preferred)
Experience: Minimum of 2 years-Nursing (Required)
Basic Life Support Certification - Default Issuing Body, Chemotherapy and Biotherapy certification courses within 3 months of hire - Default Issuing Body, Licensed Registered Nurse (Pennsylvania) - RN_State of Pennsylvania, Oncoclogy Certified Nurse required after completion of required hours - Oncology Nursing Certification Corporation (ONCC)
