Compass Oncology, the largest multi-specialty medical oncology practice in the Pacific Northwest, is looking for a Medical Assistant who will float between our Oregon clinic's.
Working as part of our Oncology team that is on the cutting edge of cancer care and treatment, our Medical Assistants play a crucial role in the daily patient flow, assisting a specific Physician/APP.
Assisting with rooming patients, taking vitals, and communications on behalf of the provider, our MA’s play a crucial role in the Cancer Care Continuum.

$21.09-$35.65 Per Hour **Final offer amounts are determined by a review of the candidate’s applicable experience and qualifications, as well as, internal employee equity considerations. Job Scope: Under direct supervision, assists physicians and clinicians with patient care duties in a clinical environment. Promotes efficient patient flow and patient care (i.e. exams, and procedures). Performs clinic support tasks including miscellaneous clerical tasks, answering phones, and maintaining physician’s schedule. Supports and adheres to the US Oncology Compliance Program, to include the Code of Ethics and Business Standards.

Requires a high school diploma and current CPR certification, with a preference for a Medical Assistant certificate. Preferred experience includes 1-3 years as a medical or nursing assistant and phlebotomy skills.
