About the role

The Certified Nurse Midwife provides comprehensive care to gynecologic and obstetric patients, including prenatal, labor, delivery, and postpartum services. They are responsible for assisting in births and providing reproductive health education and treatment.

Our affiliate, Unified Women’s Healthcare of the Carolinas, is looking for a Certified Nurse Midwife to join their prestigious Women's Health Care Center in Greensboro, NC.

Certified nurse midwife (CNM) is responsible for working closely with both gynecologic and obstetric patients, assisting in births, and providing health care to women post-pregnancy.

The CNM will assist with prenatal care, labor, delivery, and postpartum care, and may also provide reproductive care, treatment, and education to female patients.

Position Highlights: Join an established and successful practice that has served the Greensboro metro area for over 30 years 1 office location in Greensboro Practice team consists of 5 OB/GYN physicians, 3 certified nurse midwives, and 1 nurse practitioner Approximately 44 hours per week divided between the office and hospital Clinic patient volume: 20-25 per day Office hours are 1 – 2 days per week based on clinical volume and office needs Delivering hospital: Moses Cone Memorial Hospital in Greensboro Compensation/Benefits Highlights: Competitive compensation Paid time off CME reimbursement annually + paid time off Comprehensive health, dental, and vision 401k with matching Company paid malpractice coverage Supportive and appreciative culture

Requirements

AMCB Certified Nurse-Midwife Graduate of a nurse-midwifery education program accredited by ACNM Accreditation Commission for Midwifery Education (ACME) Master's degree in Nursing (MS/MSN) Active and unrestricted state registered nurse (RN) license CPR and NALS Certification Current Unrestricted DEA License or ability to obtain One year of full-time experience as a CNM is preferred Labor & Delivery experience preferred City/Location Highlights: Greensboro, North Carolina, is one of those places that's large enough to have everything you need but small enough for you to regularly bump into friends when you are in town.
