Northeast Medical Group | Waterford, Connecticut Northeast Medical Group, part of Yale New Haven Health, is seeking a Board-Eligible or Board-Certified Cardiologist to join our growing cardiovascular team in Waterford, Connecticut. This is a unique opportunity to join a rapidly evolving cardiovascular program that has expanded beyond a traditional community practice and now functions as a tertiary-level cardiovascular destination for southeastern Connecticut. As part of the region's largest health system, our cardiovascular team offers advanced diagnostic and procedural services, including complex coronary interventions, electrophysiology services, cardiac ablation procedures, implantable device management, and advanced cardiovascular imaging. We welcome both experienced cardiologists and graduating 2027 Cardiovascular Disease Fellows who are seeking to join a collaborative, high-performing cardiovascular program with strong clinical support and access to advanced technology. Position Highlights Join an established and growing cardiology practice within Yale New Haven Health. Practice within a sophisticated cardiovascular program that performs advanced cardiac procedures and interventions locally Opportunity to develop a strong outpatient consultative cardiology practice while participating in advanced cardiovascular care Access to state-of-the-art cardiac imaging and diagnostic capabilities 1:6 call schedule, including evening, overnight, weekend, and holiday call responsibilities

Qualifications

Required Board Eligible or Board Certified in Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship training in Cardiovascular Disease Eligibility for Connecticut licensure MD or DO degree Preferred Board Eligible or Board Certified in Adult Echocardiography Advanced cardiac imaging experience Experience interpreting echocardiography studies Cardiac CT experience Cardiac MRI experience Nuclear Cardiology training or certification Graduating 2027 Cardiovascular Disease Fellows are encouraged to apply

Must hold an MD or DO degree and be Board Eligible or Board Certified in Cardiovascular Disease with a valid Connecticut license. Preferred qualifications include certifications in Adult Echocardiography and experience in advanced cardiac imaging (CT, MRI, Nuclear).
