Perform various phlebotomy procedures across all age groups and ensure the stability and accuracy of processed specimens. Manage patient registration, order entry, and the distribution of laboratory results to providers.
Responsible for performing all forms of phlebotomy procedures including registration on any age level, process specimens to ensure stability, perform order entry procedures to ensure accuracy of patient/testing information, and provide all laboratory results to providers.
A high school diploma and a minimum of six months job-related experience or equivalent is required. All employees hired during or after 2012 must have Phlebotomy certification.
