Job Details

Radiology Technologist Operates x-ray equipment, prepares x-ray room, equipment, and supplies. Provides patient services using imaging modalities. Utilize knowledge of screening and diagnostic procedures in order to produce optimal images. Perform other duties in the department as required.

Responsibilities

Selects and operates radiographic and support equipment, manually selecting proper technical factors on an individual patient basis. Performs routine diagnostic X-ray procedures. Using filmmakers correctly and consistently. Assists physicians in the performance of examinations. Maintains orderliness and cleanliness. Performs a variety of related clerical tasks as necessary. Rotates within the department or areas of the department. Adheres to prescribed standards for Radiation Safety.

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent Must be a graduate of an accredited two-year program in radiologic technology ARRT registration and NYS DOH Radiology license required; Maintains the recommended CME by the ARRT

Salary Range

Usd $41.69 - Usd $54.60 /Hr.

This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
