Market context

Family therapy roles remain in steady demand

In New York, family therapist openings are often tied to outpatient mental health and community-based care, where licensed clinicians and limited permit candidates can both be considered. These roles are competitive because employers usually want NYS licensure, outpatient experience, and comfort working with families across complex behavioral health needs. Review the AI-summarized requirements and benefits on this platform to save research time, then confirm your license status and outpatient experience before applying.
