This APRN position is part-time 4hrs a day up to 16hrs a week with great flexibility. ● As an all care provider you will manage chronic conditions, evaluate and treat ourpatient's medical needs and work with a capable, compassionate team to bring a better quality of life to our community. ● Review and prescribe patient medications and order when necessary. ● Work independently, with strong communication and collaboration under the direction of our Program Physician or Program Lead APRN ● Refer patients who have been determined to need care outside our scope of practice. ● Patient education about health insufficiency and its complications ● Educate clients on pre-and post-treatment care for long-lasting results ● Offer DPC plans available at the clinic to clients ● Perform initiation of basic wound care ● Collaborate with referring physicians ● Record clear and accurate medical documentation in the patient’s medical chart ● Aid as needed by direction program lead APRN with office coverage as needed ● Follow all applicable medical care regulations and safety protocols ● Perform DOT exams (if not qualified, take certification within a month)
● Florida Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner license required ● FMCSA-approval to conduct DOT medical examinations ● Minimum of one year of experience in a clinical/hospital setting ● EMR experience required ● Demonstrate the ability to assess the full scope of patient needs ● Ability to build rapport with patients ● Conduct courteous and professional manner ● Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks ● Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills ● Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
