Peckham inc. - Residential advisor/Direct care support
Residential Advisor/ Direct Care Staff will provide a family atmosphere to six adult men with developmental disability. This position will be responsible for following compliance standards for Adult Foster Care licensed facilities and ensure a safe and caring environment for residents. Direct Care Staff must have the stamina to meet the physical, emotional, intellectual and social needs of each resident.
This position involves frequent physical activity, including standing, walking, bending, and engaging in physical play.
Tasks may also include occasional lifting (up to 50 lbs), carrying, running, and moving furniture, as well as light cleaning activities like sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.
Employees will frequently communicate with and actively supervise others, requiring strong coordination.
The work environment is dynamic, with frequent exposure to noise, active settings, and occasional use of cleaning agents.
Conditions may involve rare exposure to temperature changes, confined spaces, or allergens.
