A Touch of Love Home Care is seeking a dependable and highly experienced Floater Caregiver/Aide to provide coverage in Columbus, GA, Harris County, Russell County, AL and surrounding areas. The ideal candidate must have open or highly flexible availability, reliable transportation, and the ability to accept assignments in different client homes, including occasional short-notice coverage.
Pay is $75 per four-hour shift, equivalent to $18.75 per hour. Additional hours are paid at $18.75 per hour. Hours are based on available client assignments and are not guaranteed.

Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and oral hygiene.
Assist clients with ambulation, transfers, positioning, and mobility.
Provide medication reminders within the caregiver’s permitted scope of practice.
Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed.
Perform light housekeeping related to the client’s care and immediate living area.
Provide companionship, supervision, and emotional support.
Assist clients with errands and appointments when included in the care plan.
Follow each client’s individualized plan of care and agency policies.
Accurately document services provided and complete required shift notes.
Report changes in the client’s condition, safety concerns, incidents, or family concerns promptly.
Maintain professional communication with clients, families, caregivers, and the administrative team.
Accept assignments in multiple service areas and adapt to different client needs and home environments.
Provide coverage for call-outs, urgent staffing needs, vacations, and temporary schedule gaps.
