About the role

The Certified Medical Assistant is responsible for identifying patient needs, documenting medical histories, and providing age-appropriate care. They also assist during medical examinations and ensure timely documentation of medical necessity in patient records.

How you’ll contribute

A Certified Medical Assistant, who excels in this role

Accurately identifies patient needs and documents basic medical history.

Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient

Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record

Assist during medical examinations.

What we’re looking for- a compassionate medical assistant with a deep understanding of physician practices and patient care.

Applicants should have

High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Active Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA), or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification is required within a year of hire.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification though the American Heart Association is required upon hire.

One year of experience preferred

Requirements

Candidates must have a high school diploma and BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire. A CMA, CCMA, or RMA certification is required within one year of hire, and one year of experience is preferred.
