University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregiver Workers to join our team in Belleville, MI. As a Caregiver Worker, you will provide essential support and assistance to individuals in their homes, helping them maintain their independence and improve their quality of life. This role requires empathy, reliability, and a desire to make a positive impact in the community.

Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
  • Help with light housekeeping tasks and ensure a safe and clean environment.
  • Monitor client health and report any changes or concerns to the supervisory team.
  • Assist with medication reminders as directed by healthcare professionals.
  • Transport clients to appointments and errands as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of services provided and report any incidents promptly.

Requirements

  • Previous caregiving or related experience is a plus.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks associated with care giving.
  • Reliable, compassionate, and patient.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation plus.
  • Willingness to undergo background checks.
