The Surgical Technologist is responsible for preparing the operating room for the surgical procedure including the instruments, equipment, and supplies.
They must maintain the sterile field during the surgical procedure.
Will scrub more general cases which may include general surgery, gynecology, urology, podiatry, and plastics.
May also be 2nd, 3rd or 4th scrub in all surgical specialties.
