Provides skilled nursing care such as; implementing practitioners’ orders, ordering and assisting with medications and supplies, operates medical equipment, and charting practices Lifts and transfer residents as needed, Initiates emergency treatment as needed Monitors work and performance of unlicensed staff Updates RN with current observation and completes documentation of resident health status Communicates changes in residents conditions to relevant individuals May support RN by completing resident assessments, service agreements and care plans Required: MN LPN licensure AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers or Red Cross CPR for Professional Rescuers (3 week grace period for BLS) Able to work independently Good communication and interpersonal skills Preferred: Previous healthcare experience Comfortable using computers, hand held devices, phones and fax machine
