The Nuclear Medicine Technologist provides quality imaging and assists radiologists with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. They are also responsible for the processing and transmission of images to PACS.
The Nuclear Medicine Technologist works collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team and is responsible for providing quality imaging. The Nuclear Medicine Technologist works in support of the Radiologist, providing assistance in the performance of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Responsible for processing and transmission of Images to PACS.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING 1. Current State Nuclear Medicine License issued by CDPH, A.R.R.T. or N.M.T.C.B. Certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology required.3. At least one year of experience as a nuclear medicine technologist required4. Knowledge of mobile and stationary Radiographic / Fluoroscopic equipment preferred.5. Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology is required.6. Graduate of a program accredited by ARRT.7. This compensation estimate is specific to New Jersey and has not been adjusted for any other geographic location. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
Candidates must have a current state license, certification from ARRT or NMTCB, and at least one year of experience. A BCLS certification and graduation from an ARRT-accredited program are also required.
