The nurse is responsible for utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, and implement critical care for ICU patients. This includes coordinating nursing care, providing patient education, and managing ancillary personnel.
Full-time- 36 hours/week. 12-hour Day/Evening weekend contract. Holiday responsibilities per department scheduling guidelines

Main Job Function
Utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
Prescribing, delegating, and coordinating nursing care provided to patients.
Provide patient education & coordinate the activities of ancillary personnel while maintaining the standards of professional nursing practice.

Requires a NYS registered nurse license, BSN (or commitment to obtain one), and current CPR/BLS certification. A minimum of one year of medical/surgical experience is required, with critical care and CCRN certification preferred.
