The Registered Nurse provides safe, high-quality patient-centered care on a Medical/Surgical Unit. Responsibilities include performing assessments, administering treatments, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary care team.
The Registered Nurse (RN) delivers safe, high-quality, patient-centered care by utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The RN provides direct clinical care, communicates changes in patient condition to the provider team, and ensures adherence to all clinical, regulatory, and safety standards. Deliver direct patient care on the Medical/Surgical Unit. Perform assessments and implement individualized care plans. Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately. Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to changes in patient condition. Provide patient and family education on care plans and discharge instructions. Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team. Complete accurate, timely clinical documentation. Adhere to all infection control and safety protocols.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING Current and valid state RN License.
