The Maternal Fetal Medicine ultrasound technologist is responsible for performing ultrasound imaging, operating sonographic equipment to obtain images of patients' internal body parts to support diagnoses and provide insight into medical issues, concerns or conditions for high-risk obstetrical patients and/or their baby. The ultrasound technologist works with and assists the physician in the performance of assigned procedures. This position assists in the training of students and sonographers, in Ultrasound. The ultrasound technologist maintains optimum timeliness, accuracy, proficiency, efficiency, and safety during the execution of duties, and works closely with patients to ensure they have an understanding of procedures and are comfortable during procedures.

Requires an Associate's degree or certificate in Radiology or Ultrasound and BLS certification. ARDMS or ARRT (S) certification is required within one year of hire, with a preference for MFM or OB/GYN experience.
