Provide in-home residential support to individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities to help them achieve goals in the least restrictive setting. Responsibilities include assisting with budgeting, hygiene, community access, and maintaining detailed progress reports.
Direct Support Professionals will provide in-home residential service to individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities. Our team needs someone who is fun energetic and enjoy working one on one with our individuals in their own homes to allow individuals to accomplish their goals in the least restrictive setting.
Support individuals with budgeting and managing their money.
Guide individuals with completing necessary hygienic and household tasks.
Engage individuals in social activities.
Support individuals with community access.
Ensure individual health and safety is maintained.
Complete daily progress note describing the progress of the individual each day.
Complete quarterly reports describing individual progress.
Follow outcomes and goals on Individualized Service Plans (ISPs).
Attend in-service training sessions and workshops for professional development.
Attend biweekly supervision sessions documenting individual progress.
Maintain client confidentiality in all settings.
Facilitate conflict resolution as needed.
Attend physician appointments, SIS assessments, and Annuals related to individual goals.

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of experience caring for individuals with disabilities. Candidates must possess a valid driver's license, auto insurance, CPR/First Aid certification, and pass background checks.
