The counselor is responsible for diagnosing and treating mental health and substance use disorders for individuals, groups, and families. This includes conducting assessments, implementing evidence-based protocols, and coordinating holistic care with providers and community resources.
The Bilingual Onsite Behavioral Health Counselor is responsible for counseling individuals, groups or families to diagnose and treat mental health disorders. The responsibilities also include referring clients to specialists, monitoring progress during treatment and creating a comfortable environment where clients can be treated. This BH professional will treat clients with emotional, behavioral and mental disorders. They may work in conjunction with psychologists and psychiatrists, and refer patients to these specialists as they see fit.
This role will be based in the office in Conklin NY.
If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 67,100 - 111,800 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.

Candidates must hold an independent LCSW, LPC, or LMFT license in New York and be bilingual in Spanish. A minimum of 2 years of therapy experience and experience with population management are required.
