Care for and monitor patients as they recover from anesthesia in the PACU and PreOp departments. Responsibilities include assessing overall patient condition, monitoring vital signs, and managing pain and nausea.
This is a full time, benefited, PACU RN position that will float to PreOP.
It is located at Scripps Encinitas.
The shift is 12 hours with a variable start time between 8am and 11am.
There is also weekday call 11p-7a, and weekend call 7a-7p, or 7p-7a. that varies depending on staffing.

You will also: Assess the patient’s overall condition during the post-anesthesia period Monitor heart rate, blood pressure, breathing and respiration Manage pain and nausea
Requires a minimum of 1 year of RN experience in an acute PACU or ICU setting with a current CA RN license. Must hold current BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association.
