The Interventional Radiology Technologist performs a variety of specialized invasive and non-invasive diagnostic radiologic procedures in collaboration with the physicians or advanced practitioners and the radiology team. The Interventional Radiology Technologist operates diagnostic imaging equipment to obtain optimal quality radiographs for interpretation by physicians, with attention to As Low As Reasonably Achievable (ALARA) techniques.

Must complete an accredited Radiologic Technologist program and hold ARRT certification and BLS certification. Candidates should be able to function independently and assume leadership responsibilities when necessary.
