Job Summary

This is a per diem position. Hourly pay is $275.00 per hour/shift, depending on the type and timing of shifts worked. Actual compensation will be determined during the selection process and is based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to relevant experience, education, and internal equity.

Qualifications

The Mass General Brigham (MGB) Medical Group seeks to recruit per diem anesthesiologists to join its physician practice at Cooley Dickinson Hospital.

Scope of Position

Incumbents will join a close-knit and collaborative team of clinicians (MDs and CRNAs) providing anesthesia services for inpatient and outpatient procedures across 6 operating rooms, multiple endoscopy locations, and on the obstetric floor. These services include General Surgery, Orthopedics with an abundant use of regional anesthesia, GYN, ENT, Plastics, Podiatry, healthy pediatrics, endoscopy, Interventional Radiology, Obstetrics, and Urology.

The qualified individual will have strong connections and opportunities for collaboration within the academic and community practice network of MGB Enterprise Anesthesiology. Candidates should have an MD or DO degree, accredited training in Anesthesiology and be Board certified or Board eligible by the American Board of Anesthesiology. Excellent interpersonal skills, a commitment to providing safe and compassionate patient care, and an ability to work successfully in a multi-disciplinary team are essential qualities.

Flexible day or call shifts available which can be tailored to per-diem staff member’s preferences and departmental needs with competitive shift payment structure. Hotel and travel stipend provided for those with travelling considerations to the CDH campus.

About the organization

Cooley Dickinson Hospital, a member of Mass General Brigham, has a medical staff of approximately 500 active members (physicians and advanced practice clinicians). The system is comprised of the Cooley Dickinson Hospital, Cooley Dickinson Medical Group, as well as a VNA and Hospice. The VNA & Hospice averages 56,500 home care visits and serves an average of 400 hospice patients per year.
