Provide clinical and emotional care to cancer patients and those with hematology or acute diseases in a 14-bed unit. Maintain a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio while fostering strong bonds with patients and their families.

About the Unit • 14 Beds • 1

  • 4 nurse patient ratio
  • 7A-7P (3 twelve-hour shift with every other weekend)
  • Primary
  • Population: Consist of cancer patients, cancer related treatments, benign, hematology, chronic and acute diseases

The Must-Haves Minimum

Graduated or graduating from an accredited adn/Bsn or msn degree nursing program

Temporary/Permanent nursing license to practice in louisiana or multistate license as defined by the louisiana state board of nursing

Current american heart association bls certification.

Requirements

Must have graduated from an accredited ADN, BSN, or MSN nursing program and hold a valid Louisiana or multistate nursing license. Current American Heart Association BLS certification is required.
